India, Feb. 1 -- Mahindra is preparing to expand its SUV portfolio with the upcoming Mahindra Vision S, which has now been spotted testing on Indian roads ahead of its official debut. The test mule was heavily camouflaged, but it still revealed enough details to hint at a significant evolution in design and positioning.

From the spy images, the Vision S appears to carry a boxy and upright stance, clearly leaning into a rugged SUV identity. Up front, circular headlamps are paired with a bold grille featuring vertical slats and a prominent Mahindra badge. The squared wheel arches, chunky body cladding and flat surfaces give the SUV a tough, utilitarian look, while modern touches help it feel contemporary.
