India, June 29 -- Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday announced the government's decision to withdraw the resolutions issued in April and June to introduce Hindi as a third language from Class 1 in schools on the backdrop of a grand morcha announced by Uddhav and Raj Thackerays next week.
Fadnavis also announced the formation of a committee under former Planning Commission member Narendra Jadhav to make recommendations about steps to be taken for the implementation of the three -language formula in schools.
