India, Feb. 23 -- A total of 1,847 assistive devices have been distributed to senior citizens at the ongoing Mahakumbh-2025 as part of the 'Shravan Kumbh' initiative in Sector-7. Organised by the state social welfare department, the initiative provides free medical check-ups and mobility aids to elderly attendees.
Officials stated that the distributed devices include hearing aids, lumbar belts, knee support belts, walking sticks, wheelchairs, spinal support, and cervical collars. A dedicated camp has been set up in the Mahakumbh area to facilitate the process.
