Bengaluru, May 18 -- The Madras high court on Saturday imposed an interim stay on the declaration of NEET-UG 2025 results following a petition by 13 candidates, who alleged that the entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate medical courses was disrupted at a centre in the Avadi area in Chennai due to a power cut and water logging. The 13 students, all from different districts of Tamil Nadu, appeared for the exam at the same centre on May 4. In the petition they said that the exam began late, and the examination centre was waterlogged due to heavy rains and the students had to shift rooms mid-exam.
