India, March 27 -- A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 hit the town of Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday afternoon, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The tremor struck at 4.38 PM, with the epicenter located at coordinates 24.21degN, 82.57degE, and at a depth of 5 kilometers.

The NCS confirmed the earthquake's occurrence and provided more details on social media platform X, noting that the earthquake's depth was 10 km. However, no significant damage or casualties were immediately reported.
