Ludhiana, March 28 -- Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) here has been awarded with a grant of Rs.45 lakh by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under experiential learning project (ELP) for strengthening of canine semen cryopreservation and an endoscopic artificial insemination unit.

The grant is vested to the department of veterinary gynaecology and obstetrics which is also the centre for advanced faculty training (CAFT) recognised by ICAR in the field of animal reproduction.
