Ludhiana, June 12 -- As the bypoll campaign for the Ludhiana West constituency intensifies, various political parties have been served notices for alleged violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), highlighting ongoing scrutiny of electoral norms.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has notably received over 20 notices from the district election commission for repeated breaches of the MCC. These notices reportedly pertain to unauthorised hoardings and the organisation of public gatherings without prior permission, among other electoral irregularities.
