Ludhiana, Oct. 14 -- The 69th Punjab Inter-District School Games entered its second phase on Monday across multiple venues in the district. The competitions in handball, weightlifting, taekwondo and football drew enthusiastic participation from students representing districts across Punjab. More than 1,100 young athletes are competing in this event.

At the gymnasium hall of Guru Nanak Stadium, the taekwondo matches turned into a thrilling display of strength and agility. In the Under-21 kg category, Karanveer Singh of Patiala bagged the gold medal, while Jaswant Kumar from Ferozepur claimed silver and Baban Kamboj from Fazilka secured bronze.
