Ludhiana, Feb. 22 -- The Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) has landed in controversy after prospective applicants for MIG and HIG flats under its Atal Apartments housing scheme alleged that the Trust began selling application forms for Rs.500 without providing the mandatory brochure that outlines eligibility criteria, pricing structure, payment schedule, allotment procedure and other terms and conditions of the scheme.
Applicants claimed that the absence of the brochure has led to confusion and inconvenience, as they are being asked to purchase the form without access to complete information about the scheme.
