India, Dec. 2 -- The long-pending projects of the Ludhiana City Bus Services Limited (LCBSL) have moved forward, with the district administration announcing that an AI lab on wheels, mobile Kitchen and washroom on wheels will begin public services from January onwards. These decisions were finalised during a meeting of the board of directors of LCBSL held on Friday, under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner-cum-executive director.

This marks a major step toward operationalising five specialty buses that have been lying unused for nearly three years at its Haibowal depot. Most of these buses were modified during the Covid-19 period for community welfare but could not be deployed due to administrative delays.
