Ludhiana, Oct. 15 -- Ludhiana district has witnessed a significant surge in dengue cases, with the total tally reaching 202 by Tuesday. This marks a notable rise, particularly in the last month, attributed by a health official to the heavy rains experienced in the region.
The current month of October has already recorded 70 cases so far, following 104 cases in September. This contrasts sharply with the earlier part of the season, which saw only 16 cases in August, six in July, and three each in June and May.
