Ludhiana, Dec. 19 -- Additional deputy commissioner (general) Rakesh Kumar on Thursday urged banks to provide maximum financial assistance to weaker sections under various government welfare schemes to promote their socio-economic development.
Presiding over the quarterly meeting of the district consultative committee (DCC) and district level review committee (DLRC) of banks at Bachat Bhawan, the ADC directed banks to extend utmost support to priority sectors, including education, weaker sections, agriculture, MSMEs, and others. He emphasised ensuring zero pendency of applications under various financial schemes and according top priority to these sectors to achieve government targets.
