JAMMU, April 10 -- A scuffle broke out between lone Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Mehraj Malik and some Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members on Wednesday inside the central hall of the Jammu & Kashmir assembly, which was also adjourned sine die amid noisy scenes inside the House over the demand for a discussion on the new Waqf Act.
Malik, who represents Doda assembly constituency, was first involved in a verbal duel with some PDP leaders, including Arif Amin, over his remarks against former chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
