Chennai, Jan. 22 -- Police on Wednesday arrested a 46-year-old Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) administrative officer for allegedly murdering his 54-year-old senior branch manager in Madurai to evade an internal probe.
Kalyani Nambi's death was earlier thought to be due to an accidental fire at the LIC office on December 17, 2025. Police now suspect that the accused, D Ram, set her ablaze. P10
