New Delhi, May 3 -- LG VK Saxena has approved a tripartite agreement between the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), the directorate general of fire services, home guard and civil defence (Government of India), and the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), to strengthen fire safety in the Capital.
The plan includes upgrading equipment, introducing regular training sessions for fire-fighters, and equipping personnel with modern tools and knowledge.
The NCGG will help fix principles of good governance into the department by ensuring transparency, accountability, and process efficiency.
