LUCKNOW, March 28 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) approved 54 proposals during its 184th board meeting on Thursday, including a large-scale housing project in Bakshi Ka Talab, policy changes on rented properties, and an extension of the flat allotment discount scheme.
The board sanctioned a budget of Rs.4,269.12 crore for the upcoming financial year, an increase of Rs.395.82 crore from last year's Rs.3,873.30 crore. The additional funds will be directed toward infrastructure development, housing projects, and civic amenities, with a focus on accelerating ongoing initiatives and launching new urban planning efforts.
