India, July 25 -- A two-story commercial structure was destroyed and at least eight businesses were damaged when a fire broke out Friday morning close to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus, according to officials, Fox5 reported.
The smoke seemed to be coming from a location close to the UNLV campus, according to eyewitnesses.
The building in question was a commercial two-story building. Investigators are currently investigating the cause and origin of the fire, but at least eight establishments were impacted and destroyed, according to senior deputy fire chief Thomas Touchstone.
