land-for-jobs case: HC reserves judgment on deferring trial
New Delhi, July 25 -- The Delhi high court on Thursday reserved verdict in Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad's application seeking deferment on argument on charge in a case registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) with regards to the land-for-jobs scam.
Justice Ravinder Dudeja reserved the verdict after Lalu's lawyer Kapil Sibal and Maninder Singh urged the court to defer the argument on charge and hear the same pursuant to the high court hearing his plea to quash the CBI case.
