India, Sept. 17 -- Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray on Tuesday announced charges against Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man accused of killing Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University last week. The official further revealed that the suspect confessed to his roommate, reported as Lance Twiggs, immediately after the assassination. Robinson also asked his roommate to destroy evidence.
"I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out. If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence. Going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on. I haven't seen anything about them finding it," Robinson's text message to Twiggs read.
