New Delhi, May 9 -- A 22-year-old labourer was killed, and two others were injured when a lump of soil fell on them while they were working for the Delhi Jal Board to lay a sewer line 20 feet underground in Baba Haridas Nagar, Dwarka on Wednesday night. The victims were working without safety gear and the police are questioning their supervisor. A DJB spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment. The deceased was identified as Pintoo Kumar, and the injured were identified as Mukesh Kumar, 21, and Vinod Kumar, 27, said deputy commissioner of police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh.
