India, Dec. 5 -- KTM has announced a voluntary recall for the KTM 390 Duke (MY 2024-2026), 390 Enduro R, SMC R, Adventure R and Adventure X (MY 2025-2026). These motorcycles are facing stalling issues at low rpms. To fix this, the brand will be updating the engine control unit (ECU) software on all affected motorcycles.

KTM says that this update should help in minimising the likelihood of engine stalling, especially at lower speeds or during deceleration, while simultaneously enhancing rideability through better low-end torque and greater engine stability.

Owners of motorcycles that are affected will be notified via letter, and they can also reach out to an authorised KTM dealer to schedule a complimentary software update. This update w...
