India, Nov. 12 -- The world knows that Sachin Tendulkar made his Test debut in 1989 against Pakistan in Karachi; however, the game is not just remembered for the Master Blaster's first encounter with the red ball in international cricket, but rather it is known for the infamous clash between a Pakistani spectator and the then-India captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The scuffle escalated to the point where Srikkanth's shirt buttons were ripped, and the other players had to intervene to separate the two.

Former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar recalled the incident, stating that the spectator was chanting anti-India slogans, which led to the Indian skipper losing his composure.
