Mumbai, Dec. 18 -- Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday divested Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) minister Manikrao Kokate of his portfolios after an arrest warrant was issued against him by a Nashik court following his conviction in a cheating and fraud case. Fadnavis recommended the governor Acharya Devvrat to relieve Kokate of his three portfolios - sports, youth welfare and minority affairs. All his portfolios will remain with NCP president and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar for now.
