India, Dec. 15 -- Ahead of the IPL 2026 mini auction, former India cricketer Robin Uthappa had some suggestions for his former team Kolkata Knight Riders. A KKR legend, Uthappa, urged the franchise to acquire Cameron Green, even if it required them to break the bank on the all-rounder.

The Aussie has spent two seasons in the IPL before, representing Mumbai Indians in 2023 and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2024. MI, in particular, broke the bank for Green, acquiring him for Rs.17.5 crore.

Speaking on JioHotstar, Uthappa participated in a mock IPL 2026 mini auction and revealed that he was 'ready to go up to Rs.35 crore for a player like Green.'
