New Delhi, May 22 -- Corrective measures to revive Kitchener Lake near Dhaula Kuan have improved its water quality, and the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is planning a long-term solution-such as connecting the waterbody to a sewage treatment plant (STP), the agency informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT). DDA said it had initiated clean-up efforts even before the court's directions, which followed a public petition. A tender was floated for in situ measures like bioremediation and lake cleaning.
