Srinagar, Aug. 18 -- A 14-year-old girl was found murdered hours after she was kidnapped from near her home in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Sunday, police said, adding they have constituted a special investigation team (SIT) after lodging a case under section 103 (murder) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita(BNS). Officers said that the body of the girl, a Class 7 student who was stabbed, was recovered in the morning from Sehpora Batpora in Ganderbal. The recovery triggered protests in the area with local residents seeking death penalty for the killers.
