Kochi, Oct. 16 -- The management of St Rita's Public School in Palluruthy area of Kochi in Kerala, where a controversy erupted over a student wearing 'hijab', called the education department's inquiry report flagging "serious lapses on part of the school in preventing the student from attending classes" false. The development comes in the backdrop of Kerala general education minister V Sivankutty softening his stance on the dispute over a class eight student wearing 'hijab' at the Church-run public school.
