Kerala man abducted at gunpoint rescued, police suspect biz rivalry
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 8 -- A Malayali expatriate, who was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint was on Sunday found from an isolated house in Kerala's Palakkad district, police said, adding that it is suspected to be a case of business rivalry.
According to police, VP Mohammed Ali, who has businesses in Kerala and the Gulf region including in educational institutions, was on his way from his residence in Wandoor in Malappuram district to the Cochin International Airport on Saturday evening when he was waylaid by a gang of four men near Shoranur and kidnapped.
