India, Dec. 11 -- Kawasaki has announced that it is offering a free Ohlins steering damper with the ZX-6R for no additional cost. However, this offer is applicable only till 31st December. The price of the Kawasaki ZX-6R starts at Rs.12.49 lakh ex-showroom. The motorcycle is available only in one colour option - Lime Green.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is powered by a well-known 636 cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver 127 bhp at 13,000 rpm (with RAM Air) and achieves a peak torque of 69 Nm at 11,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and features a slip and assist clutch.
