New Delhi, April 25 -- In a unified show of tribute to the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, traders across Delhi's markets will observe a complete shutdown on Friday.
Multiple associations, including the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI), New Delhi Traders Association (NDTA), Khan Market Traders Association (KMTA), and Delhi Vyapar Mahasangh have jointly called for a bandh in solidarity with the bereaved families.
"This bandh is not a protest but a symbol of tribute and national solidarity," said Praveen Khandelwal, MP from Chandni Chowk and CAIT secretary general. "We appeal to all traders to take necessary precautionary measures and ensure the bandh is observed peacefully..."...
