India, March 27 -- AGRA Karni Sena people on Wednesday resorted to vandalism outside the residence of Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ramjilal Suman in Agra in protest against his last week's remark cited as an insult to medieval ruler Rana Sanga.

The attackers could not enter the house but damaged chairs outside the ground floor apartment and cars parked nearby. Several police personnel, including the in-charge of the Hariparvat police station, were injured while trying to stop the activists, according to the police. Senior police officers are in the process of ascertaining the number of police personnel injured in the incident.
