New Delhi, May 22 -- A new cultural hub called Kalagram-meaning village of art-is set to come up in Dwarka's Sector 7 within the campus of the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), officials said. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) will develop the complex, themed as a village habitat, to showcase traditional and contemporary art forms of India. Artistically designed huts dedicated to different states and regions, a culinary centre, an amphitheatre for performances and screenings, and open spaces for exhibitions will be part of the elaborate setup.
