BENGALURU, Jan. 26 -- Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has submitted a detailed report to President Droupadi Murmu describing the events leading up to and following the joint session of the State Legislature on January 21 and 22, during which he sharply curtailed his customary address and walked out amid protests by ruling party lawmakers.

According to officials aware of the matter, the report outlines Gehlot's objections to parts of the draft speech prepared by the Congress-led government.
