India, Nov. 14 -- JP Singh is one of the prominent names in Jan Suraaj's 243-candidate list for Bihar. The former IPS officer, who made an entry in politics with Prashan Kishor's party, contested from Chhapra assembly constituency, which has been with the BJP since 2015. According to EC, he is trailing. Chhoti Kumari from BJP is currently leading from the seat.

The former IPS officer faced BJP's Chhoti Kumari and RJD's star candidate, Bhojpuri singer Khesari Lal Yadav, in a three-way contest.
