RANCHI, Dec. 3 -- Chief minister Hemant Soren will appear before the special MP/MLA court in Ranchi on December 6 in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons violation case, after the Jharkhand high court refused to grant full exemption from personal appearance but allowed relief from future trial dates, officials familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

"During the arguments, it was agreed upon by both sides that the petitioner can appear once before the trial court and could be exempted subsequently from personal appearance during the trial.
