India, May 2 -- Jeremy Renner was one of the few original Avengers who stayed on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Endgame. He even got his own spinoff show - Hawkeye. However, despite the success of the first season, Renner did not return for season 2. Many had speculated that this was because of the life-threatening snowplow accident he suffered in 2023, but the actor has now revealed he rejected the show over a salary issue.
In an interview with High Performance, Renner revealed that he was approached for a season 2 of Hawkeye that was eventually never made.
