India, Jan. 21 -- JD Vance was sworn in as vice-president of the United States on Monday during Donald Trump's historic inauguration as the 47th US president of the country.

Vance, 40, was accompanied by his young family, comprising wife Usha Chilukuri, and their three children, Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
