India, Aug. 23 -- Janhvi Kapoor has been busy promoting her upcoming film Param Sundari for the last few days. After the trailer of the film was released, the actor's accent and portrayal have received criticism from a number of performers and viewers from Kerala. Malayalam actor-singer Pavithra Menon and content creator Steffi slammed the casting of Janhvi in the film. Amid this backlash, Janhvi has now clarified the background of her character in a discussion with ET Digital.
