New Delhi, Nov. 18 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) in the city, on Monday, said that several Kashmiri students across northern states are facing eviction and intimidation following the Red Fort blast in Delhi on November 10. The association has written a letter to the Prime Minister, urging intervention against "the vilification" of the community. "Kashmiri students believe in India's democracy and reject terrorism in all forms. Yet, they are being profiled and vilified by authorities and residents. Many landlords have asked Kashmiri tenants to vacate their rooms, forcing students to return," said Nasir Khuehami, national convenor of the association, at a press conference on Monday.
