JAMMU, Jan. 30 -- Due to operational reasons in Jammu Division of Northern Railway, cancellation of 20 trains has been extended till May 31 and June 1 this year, said officials on Thursday.

The operation of some trains will be resumed, while the cancellation, short termination, and short origination periods of other trains have been extended, they added.

"Four long-distance trains, including two Vande Bharat Express services operating between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Katra, will resume operations in April," said an official spokesperson.

Besides, 14 trains in the Jammu division will continue to operate with short termination or short origination due to operational reasons, he added.
