New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Seventeen suspended students from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) led a protest at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday, demanding restoration of democratic rights on campus.

Earlier, Jamia students had boycotted classes and submitted a memorandum giving the administration 48 hours to revoke the suspension. The other demands included withdrawal of order that restricted student right to organise.
