India, Oct. 8 -- Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound, starring Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, was cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with 11 cuts, resulting in a version 77 seconds shorter than the one originally submitted. The film, which hit theatres on September 26, has also been selected as India's official entry to the Oscars 2026.

In an interview with Zoom, Ishaan Khatter, who plays Shoaib in the film, shared his thoughts on the censorship. "I wasn't directly involved in the process, so I don't want to give a misinformed view.
