India, Feb. 16 -- The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 schedule has been announced. The 18th edition of the cash-rich league will get underway on March 22 with the opening fixture between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Eden Gardens. The final will be played on May 25 in Kolkata, while Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will go ahead in Hyderabad.

Rajasthan Royals will open their campaign on March 23 against last year's finalists, SunRisers Hyderabad, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will play their first match of the season against each other on March 23 in Chennai.
