India, Jan. 1 -- With the player auctions for the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) done, all eyes will be on the teenagers turned millionaires, as the 19th edition unfolds in April-May. The league had a first-time winner in Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru (below) last season, but the focus will now shift back to the top guns: Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. CSK have splurged Rs 14.2 crore each on uncapped players Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma in a bid to infuse new blood in their ageing line-up but fans will be eager to see the role MS Dhoni, now 44, takes on, in an edition that may be his last.
