India, Nov. 10 -- There is set to be a ban on all transgender athletes for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, according to Daily Mail Sport. There is no information on whether there will be a ban against athletes, like Imane Khelif, with reported differences of sexual development (DSD). Khelif was in the spotlight at Paris 2024, where she clinched gold.

As per the existing rules, each sport is given the power to decide if transgender women can compete, if their testosterone levels are below a mentioned threshold. At the Tokyo Olympics, Laurel Hubbard was allowed to participate in weightlifting. Hubbard transitioned in 2012.
