				Bengaluru, Aug. 26 -- The Karnataka government's decision to invite Booker Prize-winning poet Banu Mushtaq to inaugurate the Mysuru Dasara festival on September 22 has triggered sharp criticism from BJP leaders, who questioned her selection on religious grounds. But in a notable divergence, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, the Mysuru royal descendant and BJP MP from Mysuru-Kodagu, welcomed the choice while urging sensitivity to tradition.
