Shillong, July 3 -- Survey teams and administrative officials from Assam and Meghalaya on Tuesday commenced the formal installation of boundary pillars in the Hahim area of Assam's Kamrup district, in a move towards ending decades of uncertainty and fostering neighbourly cooperation. The demarcation effort - viewed as a historic stride in resolving one of the Northeast's most long-standing interstate disputes - was initiated from Rangthali village.
