New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- The new $100,000 application fee for H-1B visas is poised to disproportionately affect India. Indian nationals have received 60% of the 4.1 million H-1B visas issued between 1997 and 2024, and in 2024 alone, Indians accounted for 69% of all H-1B approvals. The policy is expected to place significant pressure on India's massive IT outsourcing industry, too. P11
