India, Feb. 2 -- In what can only be described as a moment of serendipity, India's winning runs in the final of the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup came with Sanika Chalke finding the boundary right in front of her team's dugout, with her team ready with the tricolored flag in their hands and running onto the field as soon as the ball found the boundary at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

India's charge throughout was led by G Trisha, who racked up 309 runs in the tournament, well ahead of the chasing pack in that regard, while also providing a match-winning performance in the final with a spell of 3-15 and 44* with bat in hand to seal a 9-wicket victory over South Africa.
