India, March 12 -- Varun Chakaravarthy's journey in cricket has been anything but conventional. Throughout the past week, he was Rohit Sharma's trump card at the Champions Trophy, delivering match-winning performances when it matters most as India lifted the title on Sunday.
The Indian team, packed with quality spinners like Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav, still found space for Varun because of his ability to bamboozle batters with his variations.
